As a 'Supply Chain Manager', you will play a crucial role in identifying and selecting the best suppliers for our products, negotiating pricing and terms, and ensuring timely delivery. Your attention to detail and strategic thinking will be key in driving the success of our sourcing operations.
Key responsibilities:
1. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and products
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine sourcing needs and priorities
3. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective sourcing
4. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns promptly
5. Manage the procurement process from sourcing to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment
6. Analyze and optimize sourcing strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
7. Must have experience in merchandising to align product selection with market trends and customer demand
8. Should have a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes, strong knowledge of materials, and comprehensive expertise in all aspects of manufacturing.
