1. Conduct technical SEO audits to identify website issues and areas for improvement, focusing on performance, crawl ability, indexability, and mobile-friendliness
2. Implement technical SEO best practices to optimize website structure, speed, and other factors influencing search engine rankings and user experience
3. Collaborate with web developers and designers to implement SEO recommendations and ensure compliance with Google's Core Web Vitals and other relevant algorithms
4. Monitor website performance metrics, index reports, site health, and core vitals and provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders
5. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in SEO, particularly Google's algorithm updates and changes to webmaster signals, and adjust strategies accordingly
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, computer science, or a related field (Having a technical degree will be leveraged)
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical SEO, focusing on optimizing website performance and adhering to Google's algorithm guidelines
3. Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking signals, and SEO algorithms
4. Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, or similar platforms
5. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive actionable insights and recommendations
6. Understanding knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot technical issues that impact SEO
7. Proven track record of successfully implementing technical SEO strategies and achieving measurable results
Preferred qualifications:
1. Google Analytics and Google Ads certifications (Not necessary)
2. Experience working with e-commerce websites and familiarity with platforms such as WooCommerce and Magento
3. Knowledge of international SEO best practices and local website optimization
4. Experience with website migration projects and managing redirects
5. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress
6. Experience with tag manager - event creation, data layering, tags, and triggers
