As a 'WordPress Developer & Designer', you will play a dual role, handling both the technical development and creative design aspects of building WordPress websites. You will work closely with our design, marketing, and development teams to create visually stunning, highly functional, and user-friendly websites that meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
I. Website designing:
1. Build responsive, high-performance WordPress websites from concept to completion.
2. Create visually appealing website designs, ensuring a great user experience using WordPress with a focus on mobile-first layout.
3. Work on wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups to turn them into functional websites.
4. Maintain design consistency across all web pages and ensure brand guidelines are followed.
5. Apply modern design principles to create user-friendly and attractive website layouts.
II. Website maintenance & development:
1. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress sites, including bugs, performance, and security vulnerabilities.
2. Customize themes and plugins as per the project requirements.
3. Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, and tools with WordPress.
4. Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO, ensuring compatibility across different browsers and devices.
5. Maintaining the layout and website efficiency by monitoring and updating plugins, themes, and core WordPress updates frequently.
1. Candidates with minimum 1 years of experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Experience: 1-3 years of combined experience in WordPress design & development.
2. Technical Proficiency:Strong skills in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
3. Proficiency with PHP and MySQL in the WordPress environment.
4. Experience with WordPress website design and theme customization from scratch.
5. Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
6. Familiarity with responsive design techniques and cross-browser compatibility.
7. Design Proficiency:Good understanding of UI/UX principles and web design like typography, color theory, layout technique, and latest trends in Saas and lifestyle business designs.
8. Ability to create aesthetically pleasing and fully functional websites using WordPress.
9. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to quickly troubleshoot issues and find solutions in both design and development contexts.
10. Collaboration: Ability to adapt and work as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to both the design and technical sides of projects.
