Online Quiz and Coding
In this stage, the team leader will answer 25 basic programming questions and solve 3 coding problems within a set time. Performance in this assessment will determine the team's eligibility for the Weekend Hackathon.

Only the team leaders will be able to attempt the assessment
Important Guidelines
- You will have to complete the assessment in one sitting; the timer will not stop once the assessment begins.
- If you encounter technical issues, clear your browser’s cache, try a different browser, or use incognito mode.
- Unfair practices will result in immediate disqualification.
- All decisions regarding eligibility, authenticity, and final judgment rest with TallySolutions and Internshala.

Launch details and selection of problem statement
STAGE OVER
Shortlisted teams will receive the launch event details for July 31st along with an option to choose a problem statement (‘Wizard of System Programming’ or Commander of Full Stack’) that they will be working on for the upcoming Weekend Hackathon. Detailed reading materials for both the problem statements would be shared post selection of the problem statement.

Connect with your mentor

Participants will be assigned mentors based on their chosen problem statement to guide them through the Hackathon. Communication details will be sent via email.
Aug 9th - 11th
Weekend Hackathon

Over this weekend, shortlisted participants will work in "Hackathon" mode to create a solution for their chosen problem statement.
Hackathon starts at 12pm on Friday, August 9th till 12pm on Sunday, August 11th.

In-person Demo Round

After giving the final shape to the prototype/solution to the chosen challenge, the finalists will give a demo to a panel of experts from Tally Solutions in their Bangalore office, who will assess and declare the winning teams! Tally will take care of all the travel, accommodation, and meals for the shortlisted teams.

Tally CodeBrewers is open to engineering students from the second year onwards pursuing full-time B.Tech./B.E./Dual-Degree programs.
This competition is structured into three rounds:
Round 1 - Online MCQ Challenge and Coding Challenge:
Team leads will participate in an online Multiple-Choice Question challenge focusing on Programming Basics and engage in an online coding challenge to demonstrate their basic coding skills.
Round 2 - Weekend Hackathon:
Qualifying teams from Round 1 will advance to Round 2, a Weekend Hackathon. Here, teams will choose one out of two product development challenges and develop a working solution using their preferred technology stack over 48 hours. Mentors will be provided to support teams throughout the hackathon.
Round 3 - Virtual Demo Round:
Finalists will present their fully developed prototypes or solutions to a panel of experts from Tally Solutions during a Virtual Demo Round. The panel will evaluate the presentations and determine the winning teams.
To participate in this competition, the initial step is to register either individually or as a team of up to three members. Please be aware that only the designated team leader will be eligible to participate in the first round, which includes a quiz and coding challenge.
No, it’s absolutely free :)
Team members can be from different colleges and participate across various academic years; however, first-year students are ineligible. For instance, a second-year student can team up with a third-year student. If a team member is invited but does not accept the invitation by the registration deadline, the team leader will proceed solo and compete individually.

Winning teams for both product development challenges will receive ₹75,000 each, while 1st Runner-Up teams will be rewarded ₹40,000 each, and 2nd Runner-Up teams ₹25,000 each. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity for direct entry to a personal interview and consideration for internship opportunities.
