About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Drive marketplace growth of the category
2. Focus on existing category expansion & add up new products/brands
3. Own the P&L (profit and loss) statement for the category that you will handle
4. Achieve the targets as per annual operating plan
5. Create necessary infrastructure
6. Work in the industry and understand the nuances of categories which will increase profitability
7. Identify broader trends and fill in category gaps
8. Plan, execute and implement the latest trends on our platform
9. Achieve the revenue targets as well as gross margins
10. Plan and strategise about margin with vendors and business partners
11. Negotiate with vendors for higher margins wherever possible
12. Plan for merchandising, assortment planning, option planning pre season and in season to ensure a thorough representation of your category
13. Plan and decide on probable business partners & vendors for future growth
14. Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, cataloging, finance, commercial and other functions of the organization
