About the internship
Position Overview: As a Corporate Event Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue and establishing long-term relationships with corporate clients. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing the sales process, and ensuring the successful execution of corporate events.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Client Acquisition: Prospect and develop new business opportunities by identifying potential corporate clients through networking, referrals, and lead generation strategies.
2. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive growth within the corporate event sector.
3. Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their event needs, objectives, and budget. Provide expert advice and tailored solutions to create memorable and successful events.
4. Proposal Development: Prepare and present detailed proposals, including pricing, services offered, and event packages. Customize proposals to meet the unique needs of each client.
5. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements while maintaining profitability for the company.
6. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client organizations. Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the event planning process.
7. Event Coordination: Collaborate with the event planning and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of events. Oversee event details, manage client expectations, and address any issues that may arise.
8. Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities and enhance sales strategies.
9. Reporting and Analytics: Track sales performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports on sales activities, revenue forecasts, and client feedback.

Other requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
2. Proven experience in sales, preferably within the event planning or corporate hospitality industry.
3. Strong understanding of corporate event planning and execution.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
5. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
6. Strong negotiation skills and a results-oriented approach.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. A passion for creating exceptional events and delivering outstanding client experiences.
