About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Developing clear and accurate 2D Process Flow Diagrams that depict manufacturing processes from start to finish
2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineers, production managers, and quality assurance to gather necessary information for diagram creation
3. Conducting site visits and observing manufacturing processes firsthand to ensure accuracy and completeness of process flow diagrams
4. Analyzing existing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains
5. Incorporating safety, quality, and regulatory requirements into process flow diagrams
6. Ensuring that all diagrams adhere to company standards and guidelines for clarity, consistency, and accuracy
7. Updating and revising process flow diagrams as needed to reflect changes in manufacturing procedures or equipment
8. Providing training and support to team members on understanding and utilizing process flow diagrams effectively

Other requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, industrial technology, or a related field

2. Proven experience in manufacturing operations with a strong understanding of production processes and equipment

3. Proficiency in creating detailed 2D Process Flow Diagrams using software tools such as AutoCAD, etc

4. Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and documentation related to manufacturing processes

5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to critically assess and optimize manufacturing workflows

6. Excellent communication skills with the capability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments

7. Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and precision in diagram creation

8. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices is preferred
