We believe that due to limited resources on the planet, there is a need to look out for an alternative to solve our problems and that another side is space. This option is viable only if we have low-cost and sustainable access to space. Manastu Space is working with the exact vision of reducing the cost of access to space. At Manastu Space Technologies, we are working on the concept of monopropellant thruster based on hydrogen peroxide: 30% higher specific impulse and 40 times less toxic (non-carcinogenic) as compared to regular hydrazine-based mono-propellant thrusters, which can hence be a potential green alternative to the current monopropellant propulsion technology. The key areas in which we are currently working on are the development of a high-temperature catalyst bed that goes into the combustion chamber and facilitates combustion. The catalyst development entails the development of high-temperature ceramics & coating of ceramic with active metal nanoparticles.
