Trainee/Associate (RCM) Fresher Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Ensuring accuracy of patient demographics and insurance information
2. Researching, identifying and rectifying any circumstances affecting delayed or non-payment of patient insurance claims
3. Processing paper claims for assigned accounts and sending these claims to the appropriate insurer to collect payment on balances owed to the organizatio
4. Ensuring that clean and correct claim are sent to the insurers, including appropriate back up documentation when required
5. Preparing and submitting coverage and payment appeals to insurances when appropriate
6. Resolving credit balances due to over-payments within time guidelines
7. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of payer requirements
8. Contacting insurance companies for further explanation of denials and underpayments
9. Taking appropriate action on claims to guarantee resolution
10. Ensuring accurate and timely follow-up where required
11. Documenting actions taken in claims billing summary notes
12. Prioritizing the pending claims for calling from the aging bucket to make a physical call by following the international norms and applicable rules for confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
13. Working on denials, rejections, LOA's to accounts, making required corrections to claims
