Junior Social Media Marketing Manager Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Developing creative and engaging social media strategies
2. Managing the day-to-day handling of all social media channels adapting content to suit different channels
3. Overseeing, planning, and delivering content across different platforms using scheduling tools
4. Creating engaging multimedia content (and/or outsource this effectively) across multiple platforms
5. Developing, launching and managing new competitions and campaigns that promote your organization and brand
6. Forming key relationships with influencers across the social media platforms
7. Undertaking audience research
8. Managing and facilitating social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions
9. Monitoring, tracking, analyzing and reporting on performance on social media platforms using tools such as google analytics and Facebook insights
10. Researching and evaluating the latest trends and techniques in order to find new and better ways of measuring social media activity
11. Analyzing competitor activity
12. Recommending improvements to increase performance
13. Setting targets to increase brand awareness and increasing customer engagement
14. Managing, motivating and coaching junior staff such as social media executives or assistants
15. Managing a budget for social media activities
16. Encouraging collaboration across teams and departments
