Finance Associate Job

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented finance associate to join our team at Plastroots Waste Management And Solutions Private Limited. If you have a strong background in accounting, financial modeling, and proficiency in MS-Excel, Tally, and MS-Office, we want to hear from you! Fluency in spoken and written English is a must for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Daily accounting & bookkeeping:
a. Maintain accurate and timely records of all financial transactions.
b. Ensure proper documentation and entry of sales, purchases, and expenses in the accounting system.

2. Profit & loss (P&L) account handling:
a. Assist in the preparation and analysis of the Profit & Loss statement.
b. Support in identifying key financial trends and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

3. Bank reconciliation:
a. Conduct regular reconciliation of company bank accounts.
b. Investigate discrepancies and work to resolve any inconsistencies between bank statements and internal records.

4. Bank accounts management:
a. Oversee the management of multiple company bank accounts, ensuring
smooth transaction flows.
b. Monitor daily balances and ensure the efficient management of cash flow.

5. Ledger management:
a. Maintain and update the general ledger by recording all financial transactions.
b. Ensure accurate posting of journal entries, including accounts payable and receivable.

6. Entry of sales & purchase:
a. Record sales and purchase transactions accurately in the financial system.
b. Verify and match purchase orders with bills for accuracy before processing.

7. Invoice creation:
a. Generate invoices for clients and ensure timely submission.
b. Track payments and follow up on outstanding invoices as necessary.

8. Tally operations:
a. Utilize Tally ERP software for managing day-to-day financial operations.
b. Ensure accurate financial reporting, taxation, and compliance through Tally.
