SQL Developer Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Write fast and preformatted database queries using SQL Server flavors such as MySQL, MSSQL, or PostgreSQL
2. Troubleshoot and problem-solve using JavaScript and other programming languages
3. Maintain and back up databases regularly
4. Perform SQL database sharding and indexing procedures as required to handle heavy traffic loads
5. Use database analytical tools to analyze performance and generate reports
6. Tune and optimize database systems for performance
7. Collaborate with software developers to integrate database functionality into applications
8. Create and participate in the database schema design process to ensure data integrity and efficiency
9. Provide technical support and guidance to team members as needed, maintaining documentation for database schemas, procedures, and processes
10. Identify and resolve database performance bottlenecks and other issues

Requirements:

1. B-Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, MCA, BCA, or related field
2. Proficiency in SQL programming and database design principles
3. Experience with relational database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
5. Familiarity with database performance tuning and optimization techniques
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
8. Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum (a plus)
9. Certification in database administration or SQL programming (desirable but not required)
