About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assist in identifying potential leads through online research, social media platforms, and industry-specific databases
2. Compile and organize lead information in CRM software for further follow-up
3. Support the sales team in cold-calling and emailing prospective clients to schedule appointments or demonstrations
4. Draft initial outreach emails and follow-up communications under supervision
5. Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive insights, and potential opportunities
6. Prepare reports or presentations summarizing findings for the sales team's review
7. Aid in preparing sales proposals, presentations, and contracts for potential clients
8. Assist with updating and maintaining sales collateral and documentation
9. Assist in responding to customer inquiries and requests for information
10. Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely resolution of customer issues
11. Provide administrative support such as data entry, filing, and maintaining contact lists
12. Help organize and schedule meetings or appointments for the sales team
13. Participate in training sessions and shadowing opportunities to learn about sales techniques and strategies
14. Seek feedback from the sales team to improve skills and performance

Other requirements

1. Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

2. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

4. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

5. Detail-oriented with a proactive and positive attitude

6. Interest in learning about sales strategies and techniques

Additional information

Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (₹ 6000 per sale).
