About the job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare quarterly financial statements and cash flow statements, interpreting financial information for managerial staff and recommending further actions.
2. Demonstrate in-depth practical knowledge of IND AS 109 and 116.
3. Maintain internal controls over processes and conduct control activities.
4. Ensure compliance with all company laws and taxation regulations.
5. Maintain the financial health of the organization.
6. Oversee and control accounts payable.
7. Manage the fixed asset register and related depreciation.
8. Assist external stakeholders as needed.
9. Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and compare the company's actual performance with business plans.
10. Develop trends and projections for the company's finances.
11. Conduct reviews and evaluations to identify cost-reduction opportunities.
12. Oversee finance department operations, set goals and objectives, and design a framework to achieve them.
13. Manage the preparation of the company's budget.
14. Liaise with auditors to ensure proper monitoring of company finances.
15. Collaborate with various departments to discuss company plans and agree on future strategies.

Requirements and Skills:

1. Professional qualifications such as CA/CMA Inter, CA qualified (Fresher), CMA, or a Master's degree in a related field is essential.
2. 1-2 years of experience in reconciliation (vendors, customers, banks, etc.) is preferred.
3. Excellent technical and logical skills.
4. Experience in the financial sector, with roles such as financial analyst being a plus.
5. Extensive understanding of financial trends within the company and the general market.
6. Proficient or intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to use formulas such as XLOOKUP and VLOOKUP.
7. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
8. Ability to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure proper financial processes are followed.
9. Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
10. Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
